Tutorial Tuesday – Yarn Ornaments

Hi all! I have been getting into the holiday spirit and crafting up a storm. I was so busy making things last week I forgot to post a tutorial! Oops! Expect some epic ones in the future to make up for it. 😉

The best part about the holidays is making ornaments I think. There are so many different ones you can quickly create to suit anyone’s interests. Here is a short tutorial for a decorative ornament for the person obsessed with knitting, like myself. Enjoy!

Tutorial Tuesday: Plush Pumpkin

I missed my chance to post this project for Canadian Thanksgiving but thankfully I get a second chance! American Thanksgiving is this week! Happy Thanksgiving Americans!!!!!

Besides pumpkins are always super cool, right? This little guy makes an adorable decoration or hostess gift.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial for cute Plush Pumpkins (Plumkins?!) and have a happy holiday full of food and laughter!

You can also stuff it inside out for a different, but still adorable, affect.

Tutorial Tuesday: Rain cloud necklace

This cute necklace will lift your spirits by looking mad hip while the weather turns from nasty to nastier.

I made this yarn necklace pattern as a tutorial in collaboration with Deserres for their website. Take a look at the full tutorial HERE!

This tutorial is also available in French on the Deserres website along with other fun projects.

If you have trouble following the written instructions for the knot Animated Knots by Grog is an incredible resource for knot trying. This animation is really clear and helps to understand how to tie the ocean plait knot that I used to make the necklace.

Happy corking!
